Haiku

I was recently introduced to what is called Haiku. For info on Haiku, click here . With my winter break on, since I have nothing to do.... officially :D, it didn't take me long to get hooked on to this new concept. I feel it makes you wanna improve your conciseness, given you have only 3 lines to put forth your idea :D. Smart enough, ain't it?

So here it goes, my first 3 Haiku. Suffer:

HI-KU
me,
haiku:
a literary catastrophe awaits.

GLACIOUS
winter,
multilayered clothing,
a squished adam's apple.

ALMOST
a gasp,
the sprint slackens,
the bus shrinks.

  2. Happy New Year, buddy!

And I just noticed, when I looked beyond your wise words, that you and Haiku are a literal literary catastrophe.
You are not supposed to have any commas, semicolons, fullstops, etc in a Haiku.
But well, you were the disaster waiting to happen.
    So keep going!!

  3. oh...is tht so...??
    cuz wikipedia says this :
"Haiku usually combine three different lines, with a distinct grammatical break, called kireji, usually placed at the end of either the first five or second seven sound units. These two parts of a haiku are called the ‘phrase and the fragment’. In Japanese, there are actual kireji words. In English, kireji is often replaced with commas, hyphens, elipses, or implied breaks in the haiku."

thts th reason i used th punctuation marks.
so plz lemme know if this is right.
